Rohde’s Free Range Eggs

Free Range Egg Producers

John and Ange run Ruradene Farm, a mixed farm operation in Tarlee at the tip of the Clare Valley food region that has been in the Rohde family for more than 50 years. They converted a small area of egg production to free range early in the 1990’s and expanded production a few years later. Ruradene continues to be a mixed farm, with broad-acre crops and cross-bred lambs along with 50,000 contented laying hens. Demand has grown steadily and they now deliver 18,000 dozen eggs per week to a grateful customer base. They are proud to hold the only RSPCA accreditation in South Australia.
