Wendouree Cellars is one of the cult legends of Australian wine. The property is a historical wine gem, with the first vines planted in 1893. These wines are still producing grapes today, managed by the custodians, Tony and Lita Brady. Altogether, Wendouree has 28-acres of vines, all dry grown, yielding around 50 tonnes per vintage. The grapes are handpicked, produced in artisan winemaking style, and bottled on site. Only a limited amount of quality wine is produced per year, for an exclusive mailing list of customers. The property is a picturesque piece of the Clare Valley, with a 1914 stone winery and cellar, containing most of its original equipment.
