The Sevenhill Hotel

Friendliest Pub in the Mid North

A flagship hotel for locals and tourists, the Sevenhill Hotel has been crowned the ‘friendliest pub in the Mid North’. Opened in 1863 as the ‘Black Eagle Hotel’ by Anton Kranewitter, brother of the Jesuit Priest, Father Aloysius Kranewitter of Sevenhill Cellar’s St Aloysius Church, this iconic country establishment, situated in the quaint hamlet of Sevenhill, is now over 150 years old. Owners Paul Longbottom and Kate Shadiac took over the reins in 2013. Their focus has been to create a seasonal menu of classic gourmet pub fare and al carte dining, featuring local food, and plenty of Clare Valley wines.
