The Riesling Trail

The Riesling Trail

Unique Tourism Icon

Traversing the picturesque Clare Valley wine region, the Riesling Trail is a unique tourism icon. The 35-kilometre track was one of the first rail-trails to be developed in South Australia, and runs between the towns of Clare and Auburn. Named after the grape variety for which the region is famous, the Riesling Trail travels past many cellar doors, scenic landscapes, country vistas and rolling hills, making it an ideal track for those wanting a leisurely walk, run or bike ride.
