The wine industry has always been a big part of Steve Baraglia’s life. From an early age, Steve was involved with the family’s vineyard at Williamstown in the Barossa Valley, which ultimately led to a career in wine. After finishing an Oenology Degree and a Viticultural Diploma at the University of Adelaide, he started at Pikes Wines in 2003. He is passionate about making wine and loves working with Riesling. Steve was a finalist for The Wine Society ‘Young Winemaker of the Year’ Award in 2010/11/12 winning the ‘Sommeliers Choice Award’ in 2010 and the ‘Supporters Choice Award’ in 2012. In 2014, he received the ‘Rising Star Award’ at the Clare Valley Hall of Fame Awards.
