Living Hedge Maze

Located in the historical hamlet of Mintaro, the Mintaro Maze is a traditional living hedge maze, made from a network of more than 800 conifers, fountains, twists and dead ends. Designed and constructed by Michael Morris and family in 1995, the maze has been lovingly preserved and is trimmed extensively twice every year, making it a lush construction of hedge work. Listed as Hooroo. com’s ‘Top 40 List of Australia’s Favourite Secret Spots’, the Mintaro Maze is the perfect place for the family to explore, providing hours of entertainment for children. There’s also the famous Mintaro Maze Bunny Hunt at Easter and the Haggis Hunt during the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend.
