Come and enjoy a weekend of Open Gardens Music and The Spring garden Expo in Burra and the surrounding towns.  Sophie Thompson will Open the event in the Town Hall on Sat Morning and there will be workshops and stalls to see and do. In the Gardens we have Tamarisque playing music on Sunday the 21st, you will remember them from Walter Duncans Heritage Garden events. There will be gardens open in Burra, Farrell Flat, Mt Bryan and Hallett. There is a $10 cover charge for the garden event and $5 for the Town Hall. Burra offers a great selection of retail therapy as well and coffee shops to delight. Tickets and maps for the gardens available from the Burra Visitor Centre and White Cedars Restaurant in Burra. If you are coming in from the north The Hallett Store and for those coming in from the South at Galleys Meeting House in Farrell Flat.

½ day bus tours to selected gardens (including 2 gardens that are only open to those on the bus tour) and to Princess Royal Station.

There are also a number of events planned for Friday 19th October including a Burra Creek self guided walk, a Burra Mine Hill guided walk, basket weaving workshops and children's workshops for classes of school students.
