Kerri Thompson has a love affair with the Riesling grape, which has resulted from her time spent living and working in the Clare Valley. After fourteen years of fine tuning the art of winemaking, Kerri decided to establish her own business in 2006, with a focus on creating individually selected vineyard wines from Peglidis and Churinga vineyards, in Watervale. Her label, Wines by KT, is inspired by lovingly grown grapes in this part of the world. She is a winemaking and viticultural consultant, and regular wine judge at the AWEC panel for the AWRI, the International Riesling Challenge, The Adelaide Hills Wineshow, and The Alternative Varieties Wineshow.
