Tim Adams and Pam Goldsack

Tim Adams is not only a talented winemaker; he is a perceptive businessman and community minded individual. After graduating from a Bachelor of Wine Science at Charles Sturt University in 1981, Tim worked as assistant winemaker, then winemaker for the Stanley Wine Company, under the watchful eye of Mick Knappstein. In 1987, he and wife, Pam launched their own label, Tim Adams Wines, where he is still Chief Winemaker today. While the wines are the forefront of the business, Tim Adams Wines also provides community sponsorships to charity groups, including “Variety, The Children’s Charity,” and received the “Variety International Corporate Award” in 2013. In addition to their own wine business, Tim and Pam opened ‘Mr. Mick Cellar Door & Kitchen’ in 2011, a bustling tapas style restaurant and cellar door in the old Leasingham winery building, recently named by the SA Tourism Commission as One of the 10 Best Places to Visit in SA.
