Skillogalee Winery & Restaurant is a Clare Valley dining icon. There’s nothing like indulging in a long lunch with a glass of wine under the olive tree at Skillogalee. David and Diana Palmer opened Skillogalee, Clare Valley’s first winery restaurant, in 1990. After more than two decades, it continues to be an exceptional place to eat, with food styles from around the world, utilising local ingredients. It’s also the only restaurant in the region that’s open seven days a week, 364 days a year. Diana’s daughter, Nicola, a qualified jeweller, returned to the family business in in 2009 and in 2012 and became Head Chef of the restaurant.
