From an early age, Louise Haines knew she wanted to be a chef. Raised on a farm in the Mid North, her passion for regional food has always been strong. Louise completed her apprenticeship in Adelaide and Alice Springs, and worked in notable restaurants such as Ruby’s and Mona Lisa’s, before moving back to the Clare Valley. Together with husband Neil, they started a restaurant at Eldredge Wines and also began a catering business. In partnership, Louise then created a local eatery, “Epic Food”. Louise continues to produce goodies under the label “Abundance Clare Valley” and is Head Chef at Wild Saffron.
